Students are now starting to develop work for the GCSE Art Exam. This resource provides 14 different slideshows of copyright free photographic images to support students in the development of their work. Whilst these photos wont replace the need for students to collect their own images, they are useful for supplementing their work and providing extra support for students who find the subject more challenging.
The images cover a huge range of themes and are appropriate for all AQA and EdExcel endorsement areas.
Students are now starting to develop their GCSE Art Externally Set Task Unit. This resource provides two example A* sketchbooks, one by a girl, one by a boy. Also included is a step by step guide to developing a thorough GCSE Art sketchbook that fully meets the Assessment Objectives. All three resources are provided as slideshows which can also be printed off for students to take away and refer to. The resources were produced for the AQA specification, but are equally suited to EdExcel.
GCSE Art students will now be receiving their Externally Set Task papers. This document provides support for students and teachers, suggesting possible approaches to the development of their preparatory work. Also included are lists of artists to study and possible foci for study.
Please note that the actual question titles have been redacted to adhere to exam regulations but these can be easily inserted by the teacher by using the exam paper.
